NEW YORK -- The following trades took place on draft day.

  • Dallas gets: First round, No. 8 overall (S Roy Williams), Second round, No. 75 overall (CB Derek Ross) and sixth-round choice in 2003. Kansas City gets: First round, No. 6 overall (DT Ryan Sims).

  • New York Giants get:First round, No. 14 overall (TE Jeremy Shockey). Tennessee gets: First round, No. 15 overall (DT Albert Haynesworth) and fourth round, No. 110 overall (CB Mike Echols).

  • Oakland gets: First round, No. 18 overall (traded to Atlanta). Washington gets: First round, No. 21 overall (traded to New England) and third round, No. 89 overall (traded to Jacksonville).

  • Oakland gets: First round, No. 17 overall (CB Phillip Buchanon). Atlanta gets: First round, No.18 overall (T.J. Duckett) and fifth round, No. 158 overall (QB Kurt Kittner).
