By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Former Parade High School All-American who redshirted as a freshman in 1998. Played in every game and started the last four in '99. Had 27 tackles, one pass broken up, one interception and two fumble recoveries as a second-year freshman. Missed the '00 season after suffering a torn ACL. Came back to start all but one game in '01 and had 58-6-2. In 12 games in '02, as a fifth-year senior, had 53-3-0 and one forced fumble. Positives: Big, thick, fluid, athletic safety who is tough and aggressive. Good special-teams player and leader who played everything but offense. Is always around the ball, especially when allowed to tiptoe into the box. Can be physical and intense. Is very aware in zone coverage and can cover some backs and tight ends.Negatives: Better in zone and will really struggle in man-on-man coverage against faster receivers. Does not appear to have good, soft hands for interceptions. Scouts don't see the hip-roll they would like, and he doesn't change directions or move laterally that well.Summary: If he had better hips and lateral agility, June would be considered in the first round. His versatility and plus-size for the position, however, still make him a solid first-day prospect.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
