Antoine Mirambeau

C | (6-3, 299, 5.4) | Florida State
By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: Missed senior year in high school with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and sat out in 1998 as a partial qualifier. Moved from offensive line to defensive line in '99 and back to offense in 2000, when was the No. 2 center. Started every game at center in '01. Second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference center last season. Missed the North Carolina game with a knee injury, came back and reinjured his knee. Tore his anterior cruciate ligament and had to have surgery. Probably will not be at full strength for the start of the NFL season.

Positives: Tough and nasty. Has a good feel for the game. Helps out well. Fine hustle and competitiveness. Improved a lot as a senior.

Negatives: Coming off a major knee injury and may not be ready until '04. Average athlete who looks a little stiff and does not move that well or make the long-snap.

Summary: Might have been a late choice or priority free agent before he hurt his knee.
