Jeff Roehl OG | (6-3, 300, 5.15) | Northwestern By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Attended Notre Dame in 1998 but was, in effect, a redshirt. Had to sit out '99 as a transfer. Started every game in 2000 and '01. Started all 12 games at guard and tackle in '02. Played in all 35 career games after transferring to Northwestern and was a second-team All-Big Ten selection last season. Played in East-West Shrine Game and Rotary Gridiron Classic. Has played right tackle and right guard, where he finished his college career.Positives: A team player who is extremely coachable and has adequate-to-good quickness, agility and balance. Supersmart, highly competitive player with very good workout numbers. Decent-plus athlete who understands angles, positioning and hand placement. Durable. Could play other positions if needed.Negatives: Aggressive and will overextend at times. A little stiff and is not a natural knee-bender. Will duck his head at times and gets beat in pass protection.Summary: A good but not great player who does not do anything special but will work hard and could develop into an adequate player.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
