SELECTED BY HOUSTON , ROUND 4, PICK 26, OVERALL PICK 122
OT | (6-5, 330, 5.48) | Marshall
By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Had a tough week of practice at the Senior Bowl, when his stock dropped. Redshirted in 1998 and has started every game the last four years. Moved from right to left tackle prior to his sophomore year. All-Mid-American Conference left tackle in '01. Was a preseason Playboy All-American last year. Started 52 straight games. Positives: Has excellent size, which he uses to his advantage. Team captain and leader. Hard worker with good durability, having started 52 straight games for Marshall. Negatives: Lacks the feet, explosion and athleticism to be a left tackle at the next level. Will bend at the waist and overextend. Struggles to readjust and recover. Muscle-and-maul type who lacks pop and doesn't use his hands well. Really labors to move laterally. Did not fare well against speed rushers at the Senior Bowl. Gets beat off the ball consistently.Summary: Sciullo has an NFL future, but it will have to be as a guard or situational tackle. His strength is definitely as a run blocker right now, though he could still be drafted in the first three rounds.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
