Zach Wilson

OG | (6-4, 300, 5.4) | USC
By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: Redshirted in 1998. Played in every game and started the last seven in '99. He continued to start at right guard in 2000 and '01, but he did miss some time with injuries. Sat out the first two games last season with a strained left foot but was back to starting by Game Three vs. Kansas State.

Positives: Good character and competitor. Tenacious, tough, blue-collar blocker. Good size and size potential. Can get movement and sustain blocks. Stays on feet in line. Plays hurt and is durable. Long 34-inch arms and 10-inch hands. Adequate balance.

Negatives: Average athletic ability and a little stiff. Lacks pop and explosion. Average downfield and while pulling. Doesn't bend his knees enough at times. Does not handle quickness well and is better in a limited area. Inconsistent using his hands. Tends to get too upright and lose leverage and anchor. Cannot handle speed. Does not adjust well on the second level.

Summary: Tough and experienced but lacks the athleticism to be more than a late-round pick.
