QB | (6-4, 220, 4.9) | Oklahoma
By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Went to Georgia in 1998 but redshirted. Sat out '99 at Oklahoma under NCAA's transfer rules. Completed 9-of-16 passes for 144 yards with two touchdowns as Josh Heupel's backup in 2000. Started 10 regular-season games, missing Baylor and Nebraska games, in '01, completing 222-380-2,234-14-13. Played in every game in '02 and completed 209-363-2,538-24-8; also rushed for a touchdown. Was the MVP of the Rose Bowl (19-of-29-240-2) and played in the Rotary Gridiron Classic.Positives: Has shown an above-average arm and improved his accuracy a great deal. Brings a lot of intangibles, along with size, poise and leadership. Negatives: Not as accurate as he should be and can struggle with timing throws. Mechanics need some work. Summary: Will get a shot in somebody's camp, but must improve his accuracy and polish his many mechanical flaws to have a realistic shot in the NFL.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
