By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Was a captain and all-state running back in high school. Played in 10 games in 1999 and had six carries for 21 yards. Missed two games with an ankle injury in 2000, but did start one of 11 games and carried 82-354 with two touchdowns. Started three of 11 games in '01 and ran 75-326-1. Started 10 games in '02 but missed one game (Furman on Sept. 21) because of an injury. Carried 60-190 and caught four passes for 43 yards.Positives: Size-speed ratio is good. Is a hard worker with a punishing running style. Gets to the linebacker quickly and has average-plus initial quickness for a fullback. Looks the part. Can catch, but was not in an offense where he could display those skills. Picks up the blitz but is not a great pass-blocker.Negatives: Must improve overall quickness and show that he can be a receiver. Lacks top on-field strength and doesn't play to his weight-room numbers.Summary: Should be in an NFL training camp, especially if he shows well as a receiver at his pro day.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
