By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Fifth-year senior who hardly played before 2001, when he started four games and carried 10 times for 34 yards. Tore his right anterior cruciate ligament in the fifth game of the '02 season vs. Wofford (Sept. 28). Rushed five times for 20 yards.Positives: Big, strong, blocking-type back who can catch. Can also line up as an H-back. Negatives: Limited speed and skill. Speed was a concern and will be a greater question mark now that he's had knee surgery. Is not quick or elusive with the ball. Durability hadn't been a problem, but he must check out medically. Offense seemed more efficient with James Lynch at fullback.Summary: Making it to camp and catching on as a developmental-squad addition isn't out of the question, but it is no sure thing either.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
