WR | (6-0, 205, 4.45) | Florida State
By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: High school sprinter who ran an unofficial 10.5 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.1 in the 200 meters. Caught seven passes for 123 yards and averaged 21.5 yards on eight kickoff returns in 1999. Caught 12-198 and returned eight kickoffs for 175 yards in 2000. Came into his own in '01, catching 33-649 and 11 TDs. Caught a career-best 37 passes for 619-8 in '02 and returned 10 kickoffs for 218 yards while starting all but one game.Positives: Good size and speed. Makes big plays and scores touchdowns. Generally adjusts to the deep ball well. Strong runner who can break tackles and return kickoffs. Shows a good burst. Explosive and gets separation. Flashes play-making ability. Good jumping ability.Negatives: Not as fluid or sudden as teams would like. Is basically a vertical receiver and not a great route runner. Is not very quick or sudden getting into or out of his breaks. Inconsistent hands and concentration. Does not seem to trust his hands at times and does a lot of body catching.Summary: Could develop into a No. 2 receiver if he can polish his skills and hone his concentration. Possible first-day pick because of his explosiveness and playmaking ability.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
