WR | (6-0, 205, 4.6) | Southeast Missouri State
By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Caught eight passes for 72 yards as a true freshman at Tulsa in 1998. Attended Coffeyville (Kan.) Junior College in 2000. Came to Southeast Missouri in '01 and caught 70-1,090 and 11 touchdowns, returned 13 kickoffs for 283 yards and won All-Ohio Valley Conference honors. Played 12 games in '02, making 87 catches for 1,453 yards with 15 touchdowns, returning 12 kickoff returns for 257 yards (21.4 avg.), blocking one punt return for a TD and intercepting one pass on defense.Positives: Great size. Clutch, productive No. 1 receiver at that level. Works hard. Good in crowd. Good athletic ability. Good hands.Negatives: Lacks instincts and intelligence. Rounds routes. A tad stiff and very raw. Must learn how to avoid the jam, run routes, block, separate and sell routes. Lacks explosive quickness and is just average into and out of his routes. Just relies on ability against the competition he is facing.Summary: Very productive college receiver who lacks top speed and will need to refine his skills to have a chance at the next level.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
