Willie Quinnie

WR | (5-11, 180, 4.5) | UAB
By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: Caught 18 passes for 308 yards and one touchdown in 2000 despite being hampered by, and at times unable to play because of a knee injury (posterior cruciate ligament sprain). Started every game in '01 and led the team in receiving with 36-460-3. Also returned 17 punts for 205 yards. In '02, caught 36-627-6 and returned 25 punts for 257. Played in Hula Bowl postseason all-star game.

Positives: Fine athlete. Quick, flexible and pretty fast. Can return punts and has done so. Has good run-after-the-catch ability, long arms and big hands. Can snatch with his hands.

Negatives: Lacks concentration and attention to detail. Drops a lot of passes and gets sloppy about his routes. Lacks strength, is not very tough or physical and is a poor blocker. His practice habits are questionable, and he seems to be a little bit of an "me" guy.

Summary: Has NFL talent but will not make it unless he dramatically improves his work ethic and shows he will pay the price.
