Ales Hemsky to miss All-Star Game

Edmonton Oilers forwards Ales Hemsky and Jordan Eberle will skip All-Star Weekend, the team announced Monday.
Hemsky is dealing with the after-effects of a concussion, while Eberle is recovering from an ankle injury.
Hemsky was selected to play in the All-Star Game and Eberle, a rookie, was chosen to compete in the skills competition.
Hemsky is second on the Oilers in points with 29, despite playing in just 32 of 47 games.
The Oilers are 14-25-8 and currently sit in the Western Conference basement with 36 points.
