Counsel presents league's position
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The NHL would like to resume negotiations with the players' union on a new collective bargaining agreement within the next two weeks.
William Daly, the league's chief legal counsel, said on Tuesday that he hopes the sides can reconvene at the end of next weekend's All-Star festivities in St. Paul, Minn.
