Employees will work three-day week
BOSTON -- The Bruins will reduce their staff work week to three days to compensate for the decreasing workload during the ongoing NHL lockout.
Beginning Monday, all employees will work a three-day week and be eligible to use one vacation day per week until their vacation time is exhausted. The move will decrease salaries by 20 percent, though insurance and other benefits won't be affected, team president Harry Sinden said Thursday.
