Stillman returns to Southeast, signs with Panthers

Veteran forward Cory Stillman's tour through the Southeast Division continues after a brief detour to Ottawa late last season.

Stillman, who won Stanley Cups in Tampa Bay and Carolina, signed a three-year deal worth $10.6 million with the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.

GM Jacques Martin hopes Stillman's presence can do for Stephen Weiss and Nathan Horton what it did for young linemates Eric Staal and Erik Cole in Carolina.
