Sens' Alfredsson hurts left shoulder
PITTSBURGH -- Ottawa captain Daniel Alfredsson is expected to miss at least a few weeks after injuring his left shoulder late in the first period in the Senators' 8-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday night.
"I'll probably see the doctor [Thursday] and do an X-ray and see what the damage is," Alfredsson said after the game with his arm in a sling. "But I expect at least a few weeks."
