Alex Ovechkin sidelined 7-10 days

ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Washington Capitals want Alex Ovechkin as healthy as possible for the playoffs, so he's getting some downtime.

Coach Bruce Boudreau said Monday that Ovechkin will be sidelined for seven to 10 days with an undisclosed injury.
