NHL talks resume with owners, players meeting
NEW YORK -- The best news on the 80th day of the NHL lockout was that hockey owners and players did most of their talking in front of each other instead of making public statements.
The dueling sides in hockey's labor fight met for nearly eight hours -- over two long sessions -- on Tuesday, and those conversations lasted until midnight.
