Rangers RW Asham out with groin injury

NEW YORK -- Rangers right wing Arron Asham is sitting out against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night after he hurt his groin in New York's previous game.

Asham, injured Sunday during a 6-3 home loss to Pittsburgh, has played in only one of New York's first three games. He missed the opener at Boston on Saturday when he served a suspension from last year's postseason while playing with Pittsburgh.
