MEET THE 2009 HALL CLASS

PLAYER: BRETT HULL
Brett Hull joins his father, Bobby, in the Hockey Hall, marking just the second time a father and son will both be enshrined as players. He played 19 years (1986 to '06) with Calgary, St. Louis, Dallas, Detroit and Phoenix. Hull won the Hart Trophy as league MVP in 1991, and his 741 career goals rank third all time.

PLAYER: BRIAN LEETCH
In his 18 NHL seasons, Brian Leetch won two Norris Trophies as the league's top defenseman and became the first American-born player to earn the Conn Smythe Trophy when the Rangers took home the Cup in 1994. He also helped Team USA win the 1996 World Cup. He also played with the B's and Leafs.

PLAYER: LUC ROBITAILLE
Luc Robitaille's 668 goals are the most by any left winger in NHL history. He received the Calder Trophy as the league's top rookie in 1987 and played 19 seasons, starting and ending with the L.A. Kings. He had stints with the Penguins, Rangers and Wings in between. He won his only Cup in 2002 with Detroit.

PLAYER: STEVE YZERMAN
Steve Yzerman played for 22 NHL seasons, all with the Detroit Red Wings, and was named their captain at age 21. He ranks sixth all time in career points (1,755). He won three Stanley Cups (he took home a fourth as an executive with the Wings) and a gold medal with Canada at the 2002 Olympics.

BUILDER: LOU LAMORIELLO
Lou Lamoriello has served as president and general manager of the New Jersey Devils since 1987 and has taken over twice as the team's coach, in 2005-06 and 2007. The Devils have won the Stanley Cup three times under his leadership. He also played a key role in the settlement of the 2004-05 lockout.
