Forward sidelined with broken leg
Zetterberg fractured the fibula bone in his right leg during Monday night's 5-1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.
Zetterberg, who turns 23 on Sunday, notched two goals and five assists in 12 games this season.
Last season, Zetterberg led all rookies with 22 goals and 44 points. He was selected to the league's all-rookie team and was a runner-up for the Calder Trophy, given to the NHL's rookie of the year.
