Fedor, younger bro of Sergei, to Vancouver

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The younger brother of
Anaheim">Anaheim star Sergei Fedorov was called up by the Vancouver Canucks
from the AHL on Monday.

Center Fedor Fedorov will join the team in Nashville and play
Tuesday night against the Predators. He leads Manitoba in scoring
with 11 goals and 20 points in 26 games.

Fedorov had one assist in seven games with the Canucks last
season. He was recalled for 10 days in November this year but did
not get into the lineup. The Russian was selected by Vancouver as
the 66th pick in the 2001 entry draft.

Backup goaltender Johan Hedberg did not join the team on
Monday's flight to Nashville after re-injuring his left wrist
Sunday. He stayed in Vancouver for treatment but could rejoin the
Canucks on their three-game trip.

Starting goalie Dan Cloutier, out the last three games with a
sore groin, made the trip and could return Tuesday.
