Flames owe Sharks future considerations

CALGARY, Alberta -- The Calgary Flames on Friday acquired left wing Lynn Loyns from the San Jose Sharks for future considerations.

Loyns went scoreless in two games with the Sharks this season, and has three goals and 19 penalty minutes in 21 career NHL games.

The 22-year-old from Saskatchewan, signed by San Jose as a free agent on October 3, 2001, has five goals and nine assists in 30 games with the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League this season.
