Iginla hurt Saturday vs. Stars

CALGARY, Alberta -- Calgary Flames captain Jarome Iginla underwent an MRI on Sunday and is day-to-day with a sprained left ankle.

Iginla, the team's leading scorer with 18 goals and 21 assists,
got hurt late in the second period of Calgary's 3-2 loss to the
Dallas Stars on Saturday night.

He got tangled up with Richard Matvichuk along the end boards
while trying to beat the Stars defenseman to the puck.

"It didn't feel good this morning," Iginla said Sunday. "We
worked to get the swelling out of it and hopefully I won't be out
too long."
