ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim have agreed to terms with goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov on a one-year contract with a team option for a second year.

Bryzgalov played in 64 games with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks last season, Anaheim's top affiliate in the American Hockey League. He had a 27-25-10 record with a 2.32 goals-against average and .919 save percentage.

He ranked first among AHL goaltenders in games and minutes played, second in wins and saves (1,644) and tied-for-seventh with six shutouts.

The Russian was picked in the second round of the 2000 entry draft. He has played in two NHL games.
