Both agree to one-year contracts

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Kings on Monday agreed to terms with center Eric Belanger and left wing Ryan Flinn on one-year contracts. Following the results of Wednesday's arbitration hearing, Belanger was signed for the 2004-05 season. Financial terms were not disclosed, but he made $743,000 last season. Belanger, 26, recorded 13 goals and and a career-high 20 assists in 81 games with the Kings last year. A fourth-round pick in 1996, he has produced 113 points in 258 career games, all with Los Angeles. Flinn, 24, was re-signed after posting three goals, five assists and 164 penalty minutes for Manchester of the American Hockey League last season. In 29 career NHL games, he has posted one goal and 29 penalty minutes.
