Bishai signs 1-year deal; DiCasmirro nets 2-year deal

EDMONTON, Alberta -- The Edmonton Oilers re-signed
center Mike Bishai and left wing Nate DiCasmirro on Monday.

Bishai received a one-year contract with a one-year club option,
while DiCasmirro signed a two-year deal.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

"We are pleased to have both Mike and Nate under contract,"
Oilers assistant general manager Scott Howson said. "They both
play with the grit and tenacity we expect of players in our
organization."

Bishai, 25, split the 2003-04 season between the Oilers and
their American Hockey League affiliate -- the Toronto
Roadrunners. In 14 games with the Oilers, Bishai had just two
assists and 19 penalty minutes.

With Toronto, Bishai had 11 goals and 22 assists in 48 games.

DiCasmirro, 25, had 17 goals and 18 assists in 71 games for
Toronto of the AHL last season.

The Oilers on Monday signed left wing Ed Caron to a two-year
contract.
