Chelios says he's resolved insurance issues
Chelios said in a radio interview Friday that he has finally resolved an insurance issue that had kept him from joining the Wolves.
Chelios has a $2.5 million contract offer from the Detroit Red Wings, who aren't playing because of the National Hockey league lockout. He needed to be insured for that amont in order to play for the Wolves.
The Wolves' management says signing Chelios still isn't a done deal, but they expect him to be in their lineup Nov. 24 for a home game against the Houston Aeros.
