Islanders recall Dubielewicz

New York Islanders: The Islanders recalled goaltender Wade Dubielewicz from Bridgeport of the AHL on after Rick DiPietro sustained a concussion in Thursday's win against
Washington.

Dubielewicz will be backup to Garth Snow on Saturday night against Philadelphia.

DiPietro left in the second period of the 5-3 win after being struck in the head by Jeff Halpern's knee while diving to smother a loose puck. He is listed as day-to-day.

Dubielewicz is 1-1-1 with 6.33 goals-against average this season. He had a win and a tie and 1.73 average with the Islanders in the 2003-04 season.

Tampa Bay Lightning: The Tampa Bay Lightning recalled defenseman Paul Ranger from Springfield of the American Hockey League on Friday.

Ranger, a sixth-round draft pick in 2002, played one game for
Springfield this season and had two assists. He will be making his
NHL debut.
