Gaborik out of Tuesday's lineup, listed as day-to-day
Gaborik will be out of Tuesday's lineup against the Vancouver Canucks after he re-aggravated a left groin injury just two days earlier.
According to The Sports Network, Wild assistant GM Tom Lynn said Monday that Gaborik has a strained hip flexor and is day-to-day.
"I guess we just have to wait," Minnesota coach Jacques Lemaire told The Sports Network. "We'll do what we did without him in the past and wait until he feels good and he's ready to play."
Gaborik scored both Minnesota goals in a 4-2 loss to the Blackhawks on Sunday night, Gaborik was again hurt in the third period. After trying to come back a few times in the third, Gaborik left the ice and underwent treatment after the game. He didn't talk to reporters.
Gaborik has two goals and four assists in three games after missing the Wild's first six contests with the injury.
