Blue Jackets activate Nash, Klesla
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Rick Nash will rejoin Columbus after missing 11 of 12 games with an ankle sprain.
Nash, who shared the NHL goal-scoring lead in 2003-2004, was activated from the injured list Tuesday before the Blue Jackets' game at Edmonton.
Columbus also activated defenseman Rostislav Klesla, who had been sidelined with a preseason stress fracture in his right leg.
The 21-year-old Nash started the opener at Washington on Oct. 5, but left the game early because of the ankle injury from a preaseason workout. The Blue Jackets have stumbled to a 4-8-0 start.
