Cristobal Huet is expected to make his second straight start for Montreal. Huet made 28 saves in a 4-3 overtime loss in Minnesota in his Canadiens debut on Saturday night. The Canadiens recalled goalie Yann Danis and forward Andrei Kostitsyn from AHL Hamilton on Monday.
"I have to stand up because I can't go into the butterfly," Theodore said. "In order to play, I would need more mobility than that.
"Huet looked nervous in his first game, but that's normal. He already was more confident by the third period. It's not easy for him. He hasn't played in a long time," Theodore added.
Canadiens captain Saku Koivu, who returned from a groin injury last week, went for treatments after skating for only a few minutes in practice on Monday.
"He hasn't aggravated the injury but he still fells some pain," coach Claude Julien said. "We hope he'll be ready to play against the Senators."
Alexei Kovalev, who has been out more than a month with a knee injury, is still waiting for the green light from team doctors to return. He will be examined Tuesday morning to see if he is ready. Kovalev said he was ready to return last week.
