In Hrdina's absence, Blue Jackets recall Simon
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Blue Jackets recalled forward Ben Simon from AHL Syracuse on Wednesday.

Simon appeared in 11 games with the Blue Jackets this season. He has 12 goals and 19 assists in 54 AHL games this year.
Forward Jan Hrdina will miss Wednesday's game against Chicago because of a broken toe.
