Predators sign Zidlicky to new four-year deal

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Marek Zidlicky's solid play earned him a new contract with the Nashville Predators.
The Predators have re-signed the Czech defenseman to a four-year contract, the team announced Monday.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Zidlicky, 29, collected 102 points -- 26 goals and 76 assists -- in 149 games with the Predators over the past two seasons, his only two in the NHL. He had 49 points (12 goals and 37 assists) this season, ranking second among defensemen on the team and 14th among blue-liners in the league.
