Sabres deal Pyatt to Canucks for 2007 draft choice

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Vancouver Canucks
acquired left wing Taylor Pyatt from the Buffalo Sabres on Friday
in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2007 draft.

Pyatt recorded six goals and six assists in 41 regular-season
games last year, but missed 27 games with a broken wrist and
another five with a mild concussion. The native of Thunder Bay,
Ontario, added five assists in 14 playoff games for the Sabres last

The 6-foot-4, 227-pound Pyatt was originally selected by the New
York Islanders eighth overall in the 1999 draft, but spent one year
with the Islanders before playing the last four NHL seasons in
Buffalo. In 308 career NHL games, he has 42 goals and 98 points.
