Canucks sign defenseman Krajicek, forward Burrows

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Vancouver Canucks signed
defenseman Lukas Krajicek and forward Alexandre Burrows to new
contracts as prospect camp opened on Friday.

Burrows, who had seven goals and 12 points in 43 games as a
Canucks rookie last season, signed for three years.

Krajicek was acquired as part of the five-player trade that also
brought goaltender Roberto Luongo to Vancouver and sent forward
Todd Bertuzzi, goaltender Alex Auld and defenseman Bryan Allen to

In three seasons in Florida, Krajicek had 23 points in 90 games.

Terms of Krajicek's deal were not released.
