Defenseman signed through 2009-10 season
DALLAS -- The Stars signed defenseman Stephane Robidas to a three-year contract extension worth $4.5 million Wednesday.
Robidas had a career-high 15 assists and 20 points for the Stars in 2005-06. This season, the 29-year-old has appeared in 27 games and has registered eight assists.
His contract was set to expire at the end of the season.
"Stephane brings a relentless work ethic to the rink each day and has earned his three-year extension," Dallas general manager Doug Armstrong said. "He is a passionate player who is built for the new NHL and we are happy to have him here over the next three-plus seasons."
Robidas has also played for Montreal (1999-2002) and Chicago (2004). He has appeared in 192 games with Dallas (2002-04, 2005-present).
Daley has missed the last five games with a concussion and Miettinen is out with a lower body injury.
