Wild LW Gaborik gets treatment for injury
ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild center Marian Gaborik, who has been out of the lineup since Oct. 20 because of a strained groin, flew to Los Angeles on Friday to receive other treatment, a team official said.
GM Doug Risebrough said Gaborik, who has been working with a medical practitioner in Vancouver on strengthening his abdominal muscles, has grown frustrated with the pace of his recovery from an injury that has caused him to miss the last 24 games.
He will see a deep tissue chiropractor in Los Angeles who helped him recover from a similar injury last season.
