Wild send Kopriva back to minors; Fernandez healthy
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild reassigned goaltender Miroslav Kopriva to Houston of the AHL on Saturday.
Kopriva was called up for insurance after Niklas Backstrom injured his groin in Tuesday's loss at Calgary. Josh Harding played Thursday against Edmonton and posted a shutout. Regular starter Manny Fernandez, who sprained his knee on Jan. 20, hasn't played since aggravating the injury on Jan. 30.
All three goalies practiced Friday and Saturday. The Wild play at Vancouver on Sunday.
