Thrashers recall Lehtonen from AHL rehab stint

ATLANTA -- Atlanta Thrashers goaltender Kari Lehtonen was recalled
Saturday from an AHL reconditioning assignment after missing 16
games with a groin injury.

The Thrashers sent goaltender Ondrej Pavelec back to the Chicago
Wolves, their AHL affiliate.

Lehtonen, who opened the season as the starting goalie, was
placed on injured reserve on Oct. 19. He was 0-4 in five games
before the injury and was 2-0 with a 1.92 goals-against average
with Chicago.
