Habs' Smolinski to miss six weeks with sprained knee; Begin out 2-3 weeks

MONTREAL -- Canadiens center Bryan Smolinski will be out for six weeks
after spraining his right knee against Boston on Dec. 6.

Winger Steve Begin, who separated his left shoulder in the same
game, will also miss two to three weeks, the team said Tuesday.

Both players missed the Canadiens' 5-1 loss to Carolina on
Sunday, and were out of the lineup Tuesday against Tampa Bay.

Goalie Cristobal Huet is also out because of a pulled groin, but
is expected back on Saturday.

Forward Mikhail Grabovski, sent down to AHL Hamilton last week,
sprained his right ankle in a game against Binghamton on Dec. 7 and
is out indefinitely.
