RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Carolina Hurricanes sent struggling
goaltender John Grahame to Albany of the American Hockey League on Friday.

Grahame, 32, was scheduled to join Albany in time for the River
Rats' AHL game against Syracuse on Friday night.

The goaltender is 4-6-1 while allowing an average of 3.83 goals
with a .875 save percentage in 13 games. In his last appearance, he
allowed three goals on 14 shots before being pulled in the second
