Orr to have No. 2 jersey retired by Oshawa Generals

Bobby Orr's No. 2 jersey will be retired by the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League. He will be honored before the Generals game with the Peterborough Petes on Nov. 27.

The Hall of Fame defenseman joined the Generals when he was 14 in 1962 and helped the team capture the OHL championship in 1966.

In four seasons with Oshawa, Orr had 278 points in 194 games. He went on to a Hall of Fame career with the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks.
