MOSCOW -- Veteran goaltender Dominik Hasek has signed a one-year deal with Spartak Moscow to play in the Continental Hockey League.
Hasek signed with Spartak in Moscow on Monday. He won the Stanley Cup twice and was voted the most valuable player twice during a glittering 16-season NHL career.
Hasek joins Spartak from his hometown team Pardubice, for which he came out of retirement last year to play and helped lead to the Czech league title in April.
The 45-year-old known as "The Dominator" also led the Czechs to Olympic gold in 1998.
