Ryan Parent, Shane O'Brien swapped
O'Brien, 27, had been placed on waivers by the Canucks this week. He's earning $1.6 million this season and will be an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
Parent, 23, is earning $850,000 this season and has another year on his deal, which will pay him $1 million in 2011-12. The Canucks, after acquiring him from the Predators, placed him on waivers.
Andersson, 29, played in the KHL last season. Gendur, 23, played in the ECHL.
