No timetable for Alex Stalock's return
Wilson said Wednesday that the operation on Monday at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota went well. Wilson says Stalock is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Stalock got a laceration on his leg on Feb. 4 while playing for AHL Worcester when he was stepped on by a skate.
The 23-year-old Stalock got the win in relief in his NHL debut on Feb. 1 against the Phoenix Coyotes. He was 19-17-4 with a 2.53 goals-against average at Worcester.
