Sullivan And Brodeur Turn Back The Clock
From Elias: Steve Sullivan assisted on one goal and then scored what proved to be the game-winning goal for the Devils in their 3-2 victory over the Canadiens in Newark. Sullivan's last multiple-point game for New Jersey was also against the Canadiens, but it came more than 16 years ago, during his first stint with the Devils, when he tallied one goal and one assist in a 4-1 win at Montreal on Feb. 15, 1997. There was one other constant for the Devils in both games: the winning goaltender, Martin Brodeur.

Martin Brodeur's 300th Road Victory
Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur had been stuck at 666 career wins for ten consecutive games but he broke his longest ever winless streak with a 3-0 win over the Flyers in Philadelphia. It was Brodeur's 300th regular-season road win, making him the first goaltender in NHL history to reach that plateau. (Brodeur has won 366 games in New Jersey - 266 at the Meadowlands and 100 at Prudential Center - and he posted a win in a neutral site game in Halifax, Nova Scotia in October 1993.) Only two other NHL goaltenders, both retired, won 200 or more road games: Ed Belfour (206) and Patrick Roy (203). The only active goaltender with even half as many career road wins as Brodeur is Evgeni Nabokov, whose victory at Toronto on Thursday night was his 151st road win.

Jagr Scores The Only Goal In His First Game With Boston
From Elias: Jaromir Jagr made his Bruins debut a memorable one as he scored the goal in Boston's 1-0 win over Martin Brodeur and the Devils. The 41-year-old Jagr is the second-oldest player in NHL history to score the goal in a 1-0 game. Gary Roberts was 42 years old when he scored the lone goal in Tampa Bay's win against the Islanders on Feb. 7, 2009.
