Though Yakupov will enter the locker room as the odd man out of the Oilers' top line of young superstars, the consolation prize is quite decent. Sam Gagner has shown us numerous flashes of skill throughout his career and Magnus Paajarvi is just starting to show off his own talents. Yakupov broke Steven Stamkos' rookie scoring records with the OHL's Sarnia Sting two seasons ago and continued his dominance last season even with linemate and third-overall draft pick Alex Galchenyuk hurt all season. The Pavel Bure-incarnate reference is getting stale, but Yakupov certainly has the goal-scoring potential of a superstar with a deadly shot. He may start out on the second line, but the Oilers will have Yakupov's shot on the power play for sure. He is definitely worth a gamble earlier than most rookies tend to be in fantasy leagues.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Tue Sep 11"},"playerRater30DAY":10.4,"playerRater15DAY":9,"positionRank":37}
