The comparison isn't perfect -- as Landeskog is more physical and Galchenyuk has more offensive skills -- but it lends itself to the realization that Galchenyuk may just step in and settle down as the Montreal Canadiens' top-line centerman. The 18-year-old has the size, determination and skill to step into the NHL right away, but working against him is that he lost almost all of the 2011-12 season to an ACL tear. Galchenyuk projects as the Habs' first-line centerman, and if he makes the team, it immediately pushes David Desharnais and Tomas Plekanec down the depth chart. It is a bit scary to think of how physically punishing and offensively gifted a top line with Galchenyuk, Max Pacioretty and Erik Cole might be, which makes it difficult not to gamble on Galchenyuk in fantasy drafts.
